VEX Robotics is the largest & fastest-growing robotics program globally for Elementary, Middle & High School Students.

We're Inspiring the Future!

One team. One robot. One competition at a time.

The REC Foundation’s VEX family of robotics programs for elementary school through college students includes 24,000 teams in over 60 countries. These engaging programs offer a direct response to workforce and industry needs with participants more likely to consider studying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) beyond high school.

Mahalyia Thaden

My name is Mahaylia Thaden. I'm the 7th Grade Co-Captain of our new girls' team, Gearbots 7225G. VEX means a lot to me. I love being able to work on a robot and be able to learn new things about robotics everyday. When I first started robotics, I didn’t know how much I would like it, but I ended up loving it. I like being able to work with people and communicate about robotics.  It’s interesting to listen to other people point of view on robotics too.

Henry Bergene Testimonial2

My name is Henry Bergene.  I am part of the Southland Rebelbots at Southland High School in Adams, MN. Vex Robotics has taught me a lot about how the engineering process works. I have learned that planning and documentation has a bigger role to play in engineering than I previously thought. This robotics program has also given me a first-hand experience in problem-solving. We encounter many issues every week and it is important to know how to fix those problems quickly but also effectively. Although I don’t do much building on our team, just watching my team members gives me insight as to how engineers handle unexpected outcomes.

VEX provides tools for todays educators, mentors, and parents to inspire the problem solvers of tomorrow. Because our greatest assets are not motors or gears — they’re people!
